Responsibilities:

• Manage and Execute the end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) cycles, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
• Oversee general ledger maintenance, perform month-end and year-end close processes, and prepare financial statements.
• Reconcile bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and other financial records promptly and accurately.
• Assist in the preparation for audits and tax filings.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate and timely financial reports.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective financial management and budget adherence.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Skills & Qaulifications:

• Experience processing and managing Payroll for a small to medium-sized business.
• Familiarity with Union Contracting and Reporting requirements, including local, state, and federal compliance.
• Direct experience utilizing Foundation Software or similar construction industry-specific accounting software.
• Knowledge of job costing and project-based accounting principles.
• CPA or active pursuit of a CPA license..
• Proven Experience managing both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
• Exceptional Attention to Detail and a commitment to producing accurate, error-free work.
• Demonstrated ability to be Self-Motivated and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Strong Problem-Solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting roles.
