Responsibilities:

• Equipment Operation: Perform basic setups and safely operate equipment such as manual punch presses, shears, saws, drill presses, timesavers, wash stations, and tumblers.
• Quality Inspection: Inspect completed parts using precision measuring tools to ensure they meet engineering specifications and mechanical tolerances.
• Maintenance & Cleanliness: Perform routine preventative maintenance on assigned equipment and maintain a clean, organized work station.
• Documentation: Complete accurate daily production, quality, and inspection records.

Skills:

• Blueprint reading
• Experience with calipers/micrometers/protractors
• Metalworking knowledge
• 2+ years of metal machine operating experience

Education:
No Degree Required

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:

• Mechanical Aptitude: Strong hands-on mechanical skills and familiarity with hand tools, gauges, and torque wrenches.
• Measurement Skills: Ability to accurately read measurements and follow technical production instructions.
• Previous machine operating experience
• Safety Mindset: Solid understanding of manufacturing safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. regularly (and up to 50 lbs. occasionally with assistance) and perform repetitive motions in a manufacturing environment.
