In this role, you will be the engine of the production floor-responsible for setting up, running, troubleshooting, and performing light maintenance on high-speed packaging machinery (such as die-cutters, industrial printers, and slotters). This is a fast-paced, safety-sensitive position perfect for a proactive team player who takes pride in producing high-quality work and keeping manufacturing lines running smoothly.

Responsibilities:
Machine Operation: Safely set up, start, regulate, and shut down automated packaging manufacturing machinery according to specific job orders and custom blueprints.
Production Flow: Feed raw corrugated materials into machinery and adjust settings (speed, tension, dimension, and pressure) to optimize production output and meet daily deadlines.
Quality Assurance: Inspect finished products using a structured quality box inspection process to catch and remove material defects before shipment.
Basic Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Quickly identify machine jams or malfunctions, clear lines safely, and perform minor preventive maintenance like replacing/rotating machine components or cleaning ink systems.
Safety & Cleanliness: Strictly follow Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) protocols, wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean workspace near active facility forklift traffic.
Documentation: Perform basic clerical tasks, including tracking production metrics manually or entering data into spreadsheets.

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Skills:
Industry Experience: 1-3 years of experience operating machinery within a corrugated packaging plant, printing facility, or heavy manufacturing setting is highly preferred.
Mechanical Background: Prior experience using basic hand tools for equipment changeovers or machine maintenance.
Soft Skills: Outstanding attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a self-starter attitude with excellent verbal team communication.

Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Mathematical Aptitude: Strong basic math skills, including the ability to apply practical math concepts and accurately read a standard tape measure down to fractions/decimals.
Technical & Computer Skills: Basic computer competency (ability to use basic software and navigate digital machine interfaces) and the ability to interpret technical diagrams or job tickets.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and kneel on concrete surfaces for the duration of an 8-to-12-hour shift. Must be able to repetitively lift 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds with mechanical or team assistance.
Environmental Adaptability: Comfort working in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to seasonal heat/cold, industrial noise, and dust.
