Industry Experience: 1-3 years of experience operating machinery within a corrugated packaging plant, printing facility, or heavy manufacturing setting is highly preferred.Mechanical Background: Prior experience using basic hand tools for equipment changeovers or machine maintenance.Soft Skills: Outstanding attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a self-starter attitude with excellent verbal team communication.
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.Mathematical Aptitude: Strong basic math skills, including the ability to apply practical math concepts and accurately read a standard tape measure down to fractions/decimals.Technical & Computer Skills: Basic computer competency (ability to use basic software and navigate digital machine interfaces) and the ability to interpret technical diagrams or job tickets.Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and kneel on concrete surfaces for the duration of an 8-to-12-hour shift. Must be able to repetitively lift 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds with mechanical or team assistance.Environmental Adaptability: Comfort working in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to seasonal heat/cold, industrial noise, and dust.
