Responsibilities:
- Supervisory Direction: Provide continuous coaching, structure, and strategic vision to Maintenance Supervisors to build strong operational execution plans.
- Staffing & Scheduling: Lead department staffing activities, including interviewing and candidate selection, while effectively controlling overtime and work schedules to balance plant uptime with budget constraints.
- Performance & Development: Oversee employee performance appraisals, manage training paths, handle resolving grievances or disciplinary actions, and foster career development.
- Culture of Growth: Promote an inclusive, high-morale workplace culture that champions proactive communication, professional development, and corporate values.
- PM Strategy & Optimization: Continuously audit and measure the impact of the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program, utilizing asset data patterns, monitoring tech, and mechanic feedback to refine activities.
- Budget Oversight: Design, monitor, and aggressively manage the seasonal and annual department operational budgets.
- Scorecard Evaluation: Drive measurable plant efficiency by tracking and optimizing key department metrics
Skills:
- Previous industrial maintenance technician experience
- PLC and automated equipment knowledge

Qualifications:
- Professional Longevity: Minimum of 10 years of proven manufacturing supervision and leadership experience within industrial maintenance or process engineering environments.
- Industry Background: Thorough, hands-on knowledge of food manufacturing or automated processing plant environments is highly preferred.
- Technical Competence: High proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools, combined with deep familiarity with automated food packaging equipment and facility utility infrastructures.
- Automation Familiarity: Solid working knowledge of PLCs, electronic machinery controls, pneumatic/hydraulic networks, and troubleshooting diagnostics.
