Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of maintenance professionals, guiding them to success every day.
- Keep our production lines running smoothly by managing and executing preventative maintenance schedules.
- Oversee major projects, from machine rebuilds to facility upgrades, ensuring they stay on track and on budget.
- Become the Maximo system expert, using it to track work orders and keep meticulous records.
- Act as a mentor, training your team on best practices and new technologies to boost their skills and confidence.
- Uphold our unwavering commitment to safety by managing the Lockout/Tagout program and ensuring all safety and environmental requirements are met.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Skills:
- Leadership & Mentorship: The ability to not just manage but inspire and mentor a team. This includes effective communication, conflict resolution, and the ability to train and develop personnel.
- Problem-Solving: The capacity to quickly analyze equipment failures and other operational issues to identify the root cause and implement effective solutions.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and organizational skills are vital for prioritizing maintenance schedules, managing projects, and coordinating with other departments and outside contractors.
- Proactive Mindset: A focus on preventative maintenance and continuous improvement to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency. Candidates who can identify potential problems before they happen are highly valued.
- Budget & Inventory Management: Experience with MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) processes, including managing the tool crib and controlling costs.

Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role. This hands-on experience is crucial for understanding the team's needs and the technical challenges they face.
- Technical Background: A trade school education in a relevant field like machining, electrical systems, or motor control is necessary. You can't lead a team in a technical field without a strong technical foundation.
- Safety Compliance: In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, especially Lockout/Tagout procedures and OSHA standards, is a non-negotiable requirement to ensure a safe work environment.
