- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role. This hands-on experience is crucial for understanding the team's needs and the technical challenges they face.- Technical Background: A trade school education in a relevant field like machining, electrical systems, or motor control is necessary. You can't lead a team in a technical field without a strong technical foundation.- Safety Compliance: In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, especially Lockout/Tagout procedures and OSHA standards, is a non-negotiable requirement to ensure a safe work environment.- Software Proficiency: Experience with maintenance management software like Maximo is essential for tracking work orders, schedules, and inventory. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is also a must.- Licensing: A valid Driver's License is required to perform job duties that may involve travel within or outside the facility.
