We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join a team in Bryan/College Station, ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and longevity of our manufacturing facility, production equipment, and utility systems. Responsibilities:
Execute scheduled Preventative Maintenance (PM) procedures on all critical utility systems and manufacturing equipment (e.g., HVAC, electrical systems, process equipment, plumbing, and mechanical drives).
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns, diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems.
Perform corrective repairs and adjustments to restore equipment to optimal operating condition quickly and safely.
Monitor and maintain facility utility systems, including purified water systems (RODI/WFI), clean steam generators, compressed air, and specialized HVAC/Cleanroom environments.
Use technical manuals, schematics, and testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, ammeters) to effectively troubleshoot root causes of equipment failure.
Accurately document all maintenance activities, repairs, parts usage, and system checks in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Ensure all maintenance work is performed in compliance with company SOPs, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP, OSHA).
Assist in the qualification and validation of new and modified equipment.
Complete basic facility maintenance tasks, including minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, and drywall repair.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance shop and work area.
Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or projects when necessary.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Technical or Vocational certification in HVAC, Electrical Technology, Automation, or a related field.
Valid Forklift and Scissor Lift operator certifications.
Experience with GMP-regulated environments (Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Food/Beverage manufacturing).
Hands-on experience maintaining specialized utility equipment, such as WFI loops, clean steam, or controlled environmental systems.
Basic knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) operation for diagnostic purposes.
Experience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for work order tracking and documentation.

1-4 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, facility maintenance, or a related technical role.
Strong aptitude for mechanical, electrical, and facility system troubleshooting.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, electrical schematics, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and blueprints.
Working knowledge of three-phase industrial electricity and control systems (e.g., VFDs, PLCs).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
Must be willing to work flexible hours, including on-call duty or overtime, as needed for emergency maintenance.
