What You'll Be Doing:
You will be a key player in maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting the industrial processing, packaging, and facility equipment. This role is highly technical and requires a keen focus on electrical and mechanical systems.
Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues in production equipment.
Electrical Systems: Perform electrical repairs on AC/DC motor controls, solid-state motor controls, advanced circuits, and grounding systems.
Preventative Maintenance: Maintain equipment and perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal operating conditions and minimize downtime.
Documentation: Log work orders and track maintenance issues using a CMMS system.
Collaboration: Work closely with production staff and other mechanics to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
Safety & Quality: Uphold the company's commitment to food safety, quality, and production efficiency.
Reading Schematics: Interpret schematics, drawings, and manuals to troubleshoot effectively.

Experience:

What We're Looking For:
Electrical Expertise: A strong understanding of AC/DC motor controls, advanced circuits, and grounding diagrams.
Mechanical Skills: The ability to perform a variety of mechanical tasks and repairs.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify and solve complex issues.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with a team.
Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in hydraulics and pneumatics.
Allen-Bradley PLC experience. The ability to troubleshoot, program, and maintain these systems.
