Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and/or repairs (planned, unplanned, emergency) on production, processing, and packaging equipment as well as utility related equipment or systems, following all safety procedures
- Perform preventative maintenance; perform routine inspections of equipment for assessment of reliability and performance
- Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Assist production operators with training or troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime
- Complete work orders in a timely manner, while maintaining high quality standards
- Stay up to date on new products, equipment, technology and techniques
- Exhibit the ability to anticipate parts requirements for the tasks, follow proper purchasing procedures, and acquire parts ahead of anticipated task performance
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Process at all times and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
Working hours: 2:00 PM - 5:00 AM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
- Ammonia Refrigeration certification is highly desired
Education:
High School
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
- Must have previous experience performing industrial machine maintenance
- Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing issues in PLC-controlled machinery (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc)
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, cylinders, and actuators
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
- Knowledge of electrical safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols and arc flash safety
- Ability to diagnose and repair hydraulic leaks, pressure issues, and component failures
- Understanding of pneumatic systems, including air compressors, regulators, valves, and cylinders.
