Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on a wide range of industrial production equipment,machinery, and facility systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, includingbut not limited to motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, valves, cylinders, and control systems.Utilize schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to identify root causes of equipment failures andimplement effective corrective actions.Execute electrical tasks such as troubleshooting motor controls, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives),sensors, and PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) ? including basic ladder logic interpretation andinput/output diagnosis.Perform pipefitting, welding (MIG/TIG/Stick - specify if applicable), and fabrication tasks as needed forequipment repair and modification.Work with precision tools and measuring instruments to ensure accurate installation and repair ofcomponents.Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), confined space, and hot workprocedures, promoting a safe working environment at all times.Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used accurately in a Computerized MaintenanceManagement System (CMMS).Collaborate effectively with production, engineering, and other departments to identify and implementcontinuous improvement initiatives.Participate in on-call rotations and work flexible shifts as required by operational needs.
1-4 years
High School Diploma or GEDAssociate's Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or a related technicalfield is highly preferred. Relevant certifications or military experience will also be considered.Experience with welding and fabrication is desirable.
2+ years of hands-on experience in an Industrial Maintenance role within a manufacturing, production,or heavy industrial environment is essential.Proven strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery.Solid electrical troubleshooting skills.Experience with PLCsProficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills andattention to detail.Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions(e.g., hot, cold, noisy, dusty).
