Participate in risk analyzes and JSA before and during the maintenance work Follow-up use of LOTO / entry permit Ability to follow instructions and advice from senior electricians Contribute to the preparation of EPLs (One page lectures) and procedures for performing standard maintenance missions Assist the department with technical procedures for procurement ? Ability to use electrical testing equipment proficiently for troubleshooting. Observes functioning of installed equipment to detect hazards, problems, and the need for service, repair and/or replacement of electrical components. Assist with installation of new production and facility equipment, assist with electrical modifications to existing equipment, and relocation of existing equipment. Maintains a high level of work ethics and safety, in all aspects of electrical work that is being completed. All work must comply with all safety regulations (i.e., OSHA, Company, and local codes where applicable). Assist with repairs, maintains, and installs electrical systems and equipment such as, but not limited to, motors, drives, wiring and associated devices. Help locates and determines electrical malfunctions using test instruments such as ammeter, multi meter, and temperature probe. Employee is required to keep work area neat, clean, and free from hazards. Must be able to obtain forklift and aerial lift platform licenses. Participates in new installations and modifications to existing equipment to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous and unreliable performance of equipment. Must be able and willing to assume other responsibilities, within reason and with proper instruction, deemed necessary to meet optimum labor utilization.

Education within electrical subjects One year in electrical maintenance work within manufacturing is preferred Must be able to read, write, and comprehend the English language (i.e., the language of all plant directives) for required document control, equipment operation, and supervisor/peer instructions. Good collaborative skills, systematic and targeted with the ability to find creative solutions within the area of responsibility Good security understanding Must have completed an apprenticeship program and have a valid certification from an organization recognized by the state of South Carolina. Must have the ability to use and understand advanced mathematics, handbook formulas, NEC codebook, and other sources of technical information handbook formulas. Must be able to work other shifts and overtime to complete work as needed. Employee must be willing to be on call to support production needs. To be able to read and identify components depicted on electrical prints is a plus ? Must have computer skills, with the capability to use email, compile reports and spreadsheets for parts and project tracking Employee is responsible for their own work and must exercise care and compliance of all established safety procedures. Understanding of Preventive Maintenance programs is a plus
