We're looking for a Manufacturing Associate to join our team. In this role, you'll be an essential part of our production process, ensuring the quality and precision of manufactured parts. You'll work with various tools and equipment, follow detailed procedures, and contribute to a safe and efficient work environment.

Read and interpret work orders, traveler instructions, and shop sketches to understand job requirements.
Use precision tools like micrometers, depth gauges, and ultrasonic equipment to verify the thickness and dimensions of parts.
Calculate and monitor etch rates.
Inspect parts for defects, applying standard operating procedures (SOPs) for correction.
Rack parts according to SOPs and perform basic maskant repairs following scribing procedures.
Move parts using hoists, cranes, and carts.
Handle and manage hazardous waste properly, adhering to all safety protocols.
Provide support to lead and senior operators.
Lead or participate in special projects and committees as assigned.
Working hours: 5:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
A strong ability to read and understand written instructions, including work orders, traveler instructions, and shop sketches.
The capacity to write clear, simple correspondence and present information effectively in one-on-one settings.
Proficiency in basic arithmetic, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
The ability to calculate etch rates accurately.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions, whether written, oral, or diagrammed.
The ability to operate a hoist and crane.
Experience with power tools such as drills, saws, and wrenches.

Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
1 to 3 years of experience in a similar manufacturing or production environment is preferred
