Responsibilities:
Detailed engineering understanding of customer and VC processes.
Composite knowledge - products and processes
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Project management understanding, including plan building.
Prepare, analyze and develop reports and spreadsheets.
Manage projects and prioritize workload within agreed timescales and budgets.
Explain design ideas and plans clearly.
Regular visits to customers, front-line responsibility for reporting on customer engineering changes & opportunities.
Coordinate customer projects linked to products / services.
Ensure customer and company needs are met.
Managing and interpreting customer requirements.
Provide training and producing support material for customers.
Ensure full adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
Ensure full adherence to all policies and procedures in place at customer premises.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Proficient with Visual Basic for Application (VBA) - Ability to develop VBA macros to automate tasks on large data sets.
Experience working in FAI or aerospace manufacturing environments.
Education:
Bachelors
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Engineering Degree in Aerospace, Chemical or Mechanical required.
Self-starter, requiring minimum supervision.
Customer focused.
Results and deadline driven.
Keen eye for detail with a quality focused approach to producing accurate work.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels, both externally and internally.
Effective and concise communicator.
Self-motivated and works under own initiative.
General engineering experiences in CAD, CNC Programming and data analysis.
MS office, AutoCAD, SolidWorks (or similar)
Ability to pass a security clearance.
