Job Description:
The Grinder/Parts Handler is responsible for grinding, deburring, and handling metal parts during the production process. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Operate grinders and other hand/power tools to remove excess material from parts (burrs, flash, etc.)
- Inspect parts for quality defects and ensure they meet specifications
- Load, unload, and transport parts between workstations or machines
- Use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) to verify part dimensions
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions
- Support other production tasks as needed
