The Assembler is responsible for efficiently completing product assembly while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This Assembly role requires attention to detail, adherence to standard work instructions, and the ability to meet daily production goals. The Assembler will also participate in continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Responsibilities:
- Complete required assembly activities within an assigned cell while maintaining product quality and safe work practices.
- Meet and sustain daily production rates and goals as established by the company.
- Read and follow standard work instructions accurately.
- Keep the Supervisor, Group Lead, and Manufacturing Technicians informed of cell activity, including quality, personnel, parts supply, and safety concerns.
- Complete all required cell activities and documentation as directed by the supervisor.
- Attend all mandatory training sessions.
- Maintain a strong focus on quality assurance at all times.
- Report all quality and safety concerns through the appropriate channels.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement activities as requested.
- Utilize Lean concepts and tools to enhance the production process.
- Ensure the work environment remains clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Contribute to department projects, tasks, and objectives, including continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain the highest ethical standards, personal and intellectual integrity, sound judgment, and a cooperative nature.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Properly utilize all required tools in the assigned work area.
Working hours: Various Shifts Available
Skills:
- Ability to meet and maintain daily production goals.
- Experience reading and following standard work instructions.
- Willingness and ability to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, reaching above shoulder level, kneeling, and squatting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. manually on a repetitive basis.
