Responsibilities:
- Review the week's production schedules for areas assigned in order to plan the best use of available time for production support and anticipate possible bottlenecks before they occur
- Confers with production personnel, Coordinators and Leads on a regular basis to help ensure the highest level of production support possible, making changes in the material handling schedules as directed
- Maintains records, lists and notations that are required to complete assigned duties and responsibilities in an accurate and timely manner
- Develops and maintains a thorough working knowledge of materials locations, and continually reviews location information or maps as required
- Provides direction to others as required or requested on safe, proper methods of loading, unloading and transporting materials
- Informs a Coordinator or Lead of questions and/or problems with completing assigned duties, making suggestions to minimize future problems
- Maintains accurate inventory locations and qualities and will be involved with the weekly cycle counts
- Contributes to a cooperative work effort through performance of assigned duties in an accurate and timely manner
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested

Qualifications:
- Knowledge of parts, materials, and material handling processes established for areas assigned typically learned from at least six to nine (6-9) months experience
- Skill and ability to work in assigned area(s) under only general supervision
- Familiarity with scanning devices
- Previous forklift experience with the ability to obtain a valid license through company
