Spherion Staffing is looking for a motivated Material Handler/Yard Worker for a growing local client that specializes in custom packaging and shipping solutions. This isn't just moving stacks of wood, you'll be handling high-quality custom crates, specialized shipping containers, and raw lumber.

Responsibilities:

• Heavy Forklift Operation: Move large-scale custom crates and bulk lumber throughout the yard and warehouse.
• Flatbed Management: Expertly load and unload flatbed trailers, ensuring custom-built units are handled with care.
• Load Securement: Strap and secure diverse loads, ranging from raw materials to finished shipping containers to meet safety standards.
• Inventory Flow: Stage materials for the production team and organize the yard for maximum efficiency.
• Driver Support: Assist the CDL team with pre-trip inspections and load checks as part of your development toward your own license.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Skills:

• Experience with large outdoor, all terrain forklifts
• Experience with loading and unloading flatbed trailers
• Class A CDL

No Degree Required

1-4 years

Qualifications:
