Responsibilities:
Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems and components under the guidance of senior engineers.
Conduct basic engineering calculations and simulations to support design decisions.
Create and modify 2D and 3D CAD models and technical drawings.
Participate in the prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical designs.
Collect and analyze data from tests and simulations to identify areas for improvement.
Support the preparation of technical documentation, including reports, specifications, and manuals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and procurement.
Learn and apply relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
Maintain a strong understanding of new technologies and trends in mechanical engineering.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Internship or co-op experience in a mechanical engineering role.
Experience with prototyping and testing.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations relevant to mechanical design.
Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, MATLAB) for data analysis or automation.
Participation in engineering projects or design competitions.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, solid mechanics, and materials science.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor) for 2D and 3D design.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with standard engineering tools and equipment.
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
