Job Description:

The Medical Records Coordinator is responsible for organizing and maintaining patient's medical records, including personal information, medical history and billing records. Complies medical and financial information into databases, create and implementing filing systems, and ensures records are being managed to industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Medical Records Coordinator responsibilities include:
  • Maintain patient files and retrieve files for scheduled appointments
  • Responds to records for medical records
  • Answers and directs calls; copying & faxing of requests

  Education: High School

  • High school diploma required

  Experience: 12 months

  • 1 year experience in a medical office preferred

  Skills:

  • Superior attention to detail
  • Strong alphabetizing skills
  • Strong written & verbal communication
