Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on a variety of plant equipment, including conveyors, pumps, and cranes.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical systems, such as hydraulics, pneumatics, and gearboxes.
- Fabricate and weld parts from structural steel, aluminum, and other materials to repair and install equipment.
- Operate and maintain a range of tools and machinery, including welders, cutting torches, and fork trucks.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance, repairs, and parts used for inventory control.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Millwright or in a similar mechanical maintenance role.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques (flat, horizontal, and vertical).
- Ability to safely operate industrial equipment, including hoists and fork trucks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
