Responsibilities:
Prepare and operate mixing equipment to process ingredients according to recipe specifications.
Read and interpret batch sheets and follow mixing instructions precisely.
Weigh, measure, and load raw materials and ingredients into mixing machines.
Monitor mixing process to ensure consistency, texture, and quality.
Maintain accurate production records and batch documentation.
Sanitize and clean mixing tanks, tools, and surrounding areas according to safety and hygiene standards.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety procedures, and quality control guidelines.
Communicate with the Quality Assurance and Production teams regarding any deviations or inconsistencies.
Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance issues.
Assist in other production tasks as assigned.
Working hours: 5:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Skills:
Previous experience as a mixer or in food manufacturing.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and GMP.
Experience with automated mixing systems and batch tracking software.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions, including formulas and batch records.
Basic math skills, including the ability to convert units of measurement.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
Ability to work in hot or cold environments, depending on the process.
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime as needed.
