This role is crucial for maintaining efficient office operations and providing essential support to our accounting functions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable wearing multiple hats and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform general administrative duties, including answering phones, managing correspondence, filing, and organizing documents.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, data entry, and reconciliation.
Assist with payroll processing and related tasks.
Maintain accurate financial records and support month-end closing procedures.
Prepare and generate reports using Microsoft Excel and/or QuickBooks.
Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
Support human resources functions such as maintaining employee records and assisting with onboarding.
Coordinate meetings and appointments, as well as travel arrangements when necessary.
Assist with customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the office.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Experience with payroll processing.
Familiarity with general HR support functions.
Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or machine shop environment.
Experience with specific accounting tasks like bank reconciliation or preparing for month-end close.
A relevant certificate or associate's degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including creating spreadsheets, using formulas, and organizing data - is preferred
