- Implements, communicates and manages branch-related operational policies and procedures under the direction of the assigned Branch Manager.- Interface primarily with branch and department managers to ensure effective operations and minimize potential losses.- Provide necessary support to branch and other credit union personnel in posting errors, questions and clarification relating to existing policies and procedures, dealing with requests to add new or change existing policies and procedures and general -balancing issues. - Submit management reports as required and assist in developing credit union policies and procedures.- Provide recommendations, documentation and implementation of new and revised procedures for efficient operations.- Prepare management reports and general ledger reconciliations, which includes approving charge back items (overdraft) and adjustments to clear suspense accounts.- Serve as the primary representative for all projects directly or indirectly related to branches.- Research, develop, implement, and communicate all new branch, and product related policies and procedures.- Oversee review of system exception and quality control reports for follow-up with branch managers.
1-4 years
- Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or banking preferred.
- Ability to work with others in an effective manner, listen well, share work-related information and be tolerant of others work styles.- Competent with Microsoft Office; ability and willingness to work with a variety of office equipment and software systems.- High school diploma or equivalent.- 2-3 years professional experience required, preferably in credit union or banking environment.- Demonstrated knowledge of industry rules and regulations related to Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC,- Customer Identification Policy, Truth in Savings, Truth in Lending, Regulation CC, Plastic Cards, IRAs and Funds Availability, etc.- Possession of general math skills.
