Responsibilities:
Perform paint preparation tasks, ensuring parts are cleaned and prepped according to company and customer technical specifications.
Achieve required cosmetic grades and ensure strong paint adhesion by strictly following quality standards.
Review and follow written masking instructions for all assigned components.
Collaborate with the Engineering Team to develop and optimize masking processes for new products.
Train other operators on process improvements and best preparation practices.
Working hours: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Previous experience in an industrial paint preparation, automotive refinishing, or manufacturing environment.
Attention to detail with the ability to distinguish cosmetic grades and surface imperfections.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical diagrams, blueprints, or written masking instructions.
Familiarity with utilizing hand tools, cleaning solvents, and specialized masking materials safely and effectively.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and adapt to changing production priorities.
