The Payroll Clerk is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of weekly payroll and for maintaining meticulous employee time and compensation records. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in both payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Processes and updates all employee compensation data (salaries, rates, bonuses) and time records (hours worked, leave, holidays) within the payroll system
Ensures accurate calculation and processing of all deductions (taxes, benefits, withholdings
Records and processes timely federal and state payroll tax deposits.
Performs reconciliation of the processed payroll against the general ledger and monthly bank statements.
Manages the issuance of funds, including generating direct deposits and/or physical checks for regular pay, error corrections, and final discharge payments.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll software.
Must be fluent (written and verbal) in both Spanish and English
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in processing payroll for an employee base of at least 20 people, including hourly employees.
