Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities
Operational Leadership: Direct the end-to-end processing of weekly/bi-weekly payroll cycles for salaried and hourly employees, ensuring 100% accuracy and timeliness.
Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and interpret federal, state, and local regulatory changes (including FLSA, FUTA/SUTA, and Workers' Comp) to ensure organizational compliance.
Tax Administration: Oversee the filing of quarterly and annual tax returns, including the generation and distribution of W-2s and 1099s.
System Management: Serve as the functional lead for the Payroll/HRIS system, managing configurations, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing software upgrades.
Audit & Reporting: Lead all internal and external payroll audits. Generate comprehensive financial reports, including labor distribution, accruals, and budget variance analysis for the executive team.
Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current workflows and implement scalable solutions to enhance departmental productivity.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Extensive knowledge of multi-state payroll taxation and labor laws.

Bachelors
Experience:
7-10 years
Qualifications:
Bachelor???s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
7+ years of progressive payroll experience, with 3+ years in a management capacity.
Advanced proficiency in [Platform Name, e.g., Workday, ADP Vantage, or Oracle] and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
