Responsibilities:
- Strategically manage participation of load and generation resources within and beyond ISO-NE markets, impacting central dispatch and regulatory reporting.
- Implement robust risk management strategies across a diverse portfolio of energy products, optimizing trading and market positions.
- Champion renewable energy initiatives by managing purchases, sales, and reporting of renewable energy credits.
- Orchestrate seamless energy resource, capacity, and transmission scheduling, ensuring efficient operations and supporting long-term planning.
- Perform insightful economic and risk analyses on power supply positions, portfolios, and generation projects, and represent our client in key regulatory and legislative forums.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
- Duties require knowledge of the New England power market, Vermont regulatory process, and business administration equivalent to completion of four years of college and one to three years of progressively responsible related experience preferably in a utility operating in a fully regulated environment.

- Leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines.
- Ability to offer effective public presentations in a variety of settings, including but not limited to our client's board and member governing board meetings, regulatory hearings and workshops, and legislative committees.
- Ability to recognize organization-wide priorities and work cooperatively to support their accomplishment.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; to establish positive public relations for our client, and to interact effectively with a wide variety of people.
