In this role, your primary focus will be CNC Programming, but you'll also be instrumental in enhancing our production process by optimizing cycle time and quality through continuous improvement activities, in-depth cycle time studies, and thorough root cause analysis. Responsibilities:
What You'll Do:
- CNC Programming will be your core responsibility.
- Test competitor tools on fixtures to boost tool life, enhance part quality, and reduce cycle time.
- Adjust machines to adapt to changing Die Cast conditions and other variables.
- Participate in line improvement activities, analyzing process flow and recommending enhancements while considering economic and production constraints.
- Complete project activities as directed by senior management, involving both data analysis and follow-up.
- Create comprehensive reports detailing progress of Kaizen activities, including situation analysis and countermeasure implementation.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Foster strong working relationships with production associates.
- Stay current with professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, networking, and benchmarking.
- Contribute to the team's success by achieving related results as needed.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Skills:
- Ability to analyze data and understand process flow.
- Proficiency in reading drawings.
- Expertise in programming machinery.
- Strong data reporting skills.
- Ability to write clear work instructions.
- Proficiency in using quality control tools, including calipers and micrometers.
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and computer skills.

Qualifications:
Education: A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Industrial or Process Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: 1-3 years of engineering experience in a mass production, manufacturing environment is required.
Must have CNC Programming experience.
