Responsibilities:
- Lead & Mentor: Oversee 1st shift operations, helping employees stay aligned with production schedules and performance metrics.
- Process Innovation: Identify bottlenecks and implement creative solutions. You will be instrumental in production scheduling and workflow optimization.
- Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean principles to reduce waste and increase throughput.
- Technical Oversight: Utilize ERP systems for data management and track KPIs to ensure the department is hitting targets.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
Knowledge of lumber, raw materials, or reading blueprints is preferred.
Education:
High School
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
- The Experience: Proven experience in a manufacturing leadership role.
- The Lean Mindset: Lean Six Sigma training or Kaizen experience preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with ERP software and KPI tracking.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills. Bilingual is preferred.
- Adaptability: The ability to handle a 1st shift schedule (typically 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) with the flexibility to meet varying production needs.
