COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Salary: $85,600 - $107,000 per year

Responsibilities:
Customer Advocacy: Act as the lead technical point of contact, providing project status, managing risks, and supporting customers through design reviews and production ramp-up.
Technical Leadership: Review customer documentation, drawings, and tolerances to ensure feasibility, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
Design & Documentation: Complete engineering change orders (ECOs), layouts, and process notes. Personally design tools and products using SolidWorks as workload permits.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues and establish completion dates for prototype and production tools.
Vendor Management: Interface with outside vendors to coordinate secondary operations and outsourced processes, ensuring quality and delivery goals are met.
Skills:
Customer Relations: Demonstrated experience working directly with customers in a technical or project-management capacity.
Lean Manufacturing: Experience supporting Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement initiatives.
Communication: Exceptional ability to explain complex technical data to non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Education: Four-year degree in Engineering.
Technical Experience: 3 to 5 years of related experience with thermoforming processes, equipment, materials, and tool fabrication.
Software: Proficiency in SolidWorks (or similar CAD software) for product and tool design.
Blueprint Literacy: Expert ability to read, interpret, and communicate detailed information from blueprints and conceptual designs.
Mobility: Ability to work in both an office and manufacturing environment, with the flexibility to travel to customer and vendor locations as needed.
