Responsibilities:
The duties of the Estimator / Design role for Metal Services of Blooming Prairie, Inc. are to project the anticipated costs of each project quoted in order to derive a selling price and to provide standards for the shop and field crews and to prepare an overall schedule that will ensure on-time completion of each job. Utilize Solid Works CAD program to assist customers with developing their project ideas to prepare drawings for use in fabrication of quoted items.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Skills:
Minimum of three years estimating and design experience in a similar environment.
Machine tool experience with laser, plasma, press brake, machining, tube bending and welding background.

Education:
High School

Experience:
4-7 years

Qualifications:
Must be willing to submit to a driver motor vehicle background check
Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and subject to random screenings
Physically be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
Proven experience independently securing loads and shipments in a trailer.
Operate forklifts and overhead crane and understand the requirements to secure the load
Maintains a valid DOT License and CDL License.
Must have strong communications and listening skills, professionalism, and have the ability to handle diverse situations with a positive attitude.
