ISO certified quality and world class customer support are what set us apart as an industry leader.SUMMARY OF POSITION:GENERAL DESCRIPTION:(This position includes, but is not limited to, any or all of the following)Duties:Review NCR?s, Complaints, & Internal Scrap to identify potential improvement projects.Complete Internal Process audits to identify potential projects for improvement.Work with Sales, Engineering and Manufacturing to develop new part production plans and actively support the APQP process.Provide true process capability information to sales and quoting for new parts.Maintain the improvement project list and provide a monthly report on the status of all projects.Manage development and control of proper jigs and fixturing for the manufacturing processes.Responsibilities:Be punctual, responsible, dependable, and professional at all times.Interact with customers as needed.Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.Remain up to date and proficient on all Microsoft Office software.Initiate and participate in continual improvement projects.Know and apply the Quality Policy and Engineering Mission Statement.Adhere to all guidelines and safety regulations set forth in the Employee HandbookAttend all weekly NCR Departmental status meetings.Authorities:Engineers possess absolute authority to immediately stop work anywhere in the facility to prevent safety violations or any non-conformance.To control or limit access to the facility by anyone not employed by Lasercraft.To stop work and request additional information from Management, Sales, or Customers.Initiate and Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions.Initiate NCR reports for any non-conformance.To stop the execution of any unsafe act or any act that violates the LaserCraft?s Safety program.Must be well versed with design/drafting equipment and software (versed in CAD type softwareResponsibilities:The Process Engineer provides information and support driving a continuous improvement mindset.
