The QA Tech supports quality and food safety on the packing line by inspecting products, monitoring equipment, verifying documentation, and helping ensure all packaging and finished goods meet company, customer, and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
Complete pre-op checks on the facility, X-ray machine, scales, Ink Jet data, and work orders in Plex
...
Monitor line activity for product quality, correct packaging, PPE compliance, and SOP/GMP adherence
Perform label checks, product verification, and packaging material validation
Confirm CCP checks are completed correctly and on schedule
Record inspection results and production data in the quality system
Identify non-conforming product, place items on QA hold, and support corrective actions
Verify proper cleanup, complete ATP swab tests, and perform end-of-shift PPE inventory
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Skills:
Previous related experience or transferrable skills in the following areas:
Manufacturing and or packaging
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
1- 2 years of quality, manufacturing, or packaging experience
Knowledge of GMPs, OSHA, and HACCP
Basic computer skills, including Excel, Word, and data entry
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Ability to stand, and walk for the duration of an 8-12 hour shift
