Spherion Fort Myers is seeking a meticulous and highly organized QA Document Control Technician to join food manufacturing company in Clewiston Florida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining all controlled documents within our quality management system, ensuring they meet both internal standards and external regulatory requirements. Responsibilities:
Maintain and control all Quality Assurance documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), batch records, specifications, and forms.
Ensure all documents comply with applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO).
Perform thorough document reviews for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established formats and standards.
Control document versioning, manage the distribution of new and updated documents, and retrieve obsolete versions.
Support internal and external audits by efficiently providing required documentation and records.
Assist in implementing and improving document control systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Collaborate with the QA and Production teams to perform special or investigative testing as needed.
Assist the QA Team with data entry of testing results and the tracking of various Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Ensure that product holds are closed out appropriately with proper supporting documentation.
Provide assistance with microbiology functions as required.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Familiarity with electronic document management systems (EDMS) is a plus.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Bilingual in English and Spanish is required. Must have professional proficiency in both speaking and writing.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.
2 years of experience in a document control, quality assurance, or administrative role within a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., food, pharmaceutical, medical device) is highly preferred.
