We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Engineer to join our team in Sidney, OH. This full-time, on-site position is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and hands-on experience in quality control procedures. Responsibilities:
Monitor, control, and perform product inspection processes.
Analyze inspection data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Investigate and determine root causes of nonconforming semi-finished and finished goods.
Ensure all quality control lab equipment is maintained and functioning properly.
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for testing processes and requirements.
Oversee procurement, maintenance, and service coordination for inspection equipment.
Communicate and collaborate effectively across all departments to support quality goals.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Proficiency in quality software tools or data analysis platforms.
Education:
Bachelors
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in Engineering.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality engineering role.
Hands-on experience with inspection equipment.
Strong knowledge of statistical tools (e.g., CMK, CPK, PPK).
Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO, IATF 16949).
Proven ability to analyze data and make informed, data-driven decisions.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
