Responsibilities:

• Dimensional & Visual Inspection: Reviewing raw, assembled, and painted final products. You???ll be verifying that parts match blueprint specifications and engineering designs before they are shipped to OEMs or customers.

• Using Precision Gauges: Utilizing tools like calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and potentially specialized equipment to check tight tolerances on CNC-machined parts or stampings.
  
  
• Weld & Finish Assessment: Gandy relies heavily on custom welding (MIG welding) and surface finishing (they use specialized ITW Gema powder paint lines). A quality role involves checking weld integrity and assessing paint booth finishes for defects.
  
  
• In-Process and Receiving Checks: Inspecting incoming raw metal materials or components from suppliers, as well as checking items mid-production to catch errors early.
