Spherion Erie is working with a client in their search to fill a 2pm - 10:30pm, Quality Inspector position in Erie, PA. The pay rate is $15.00 to $16.50 HOURLY. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity. Candidate must be able to train on 1st shift, 6am - 2:30pm for first few weeks before transitioning to 2nd shift.

Job Description:

This is a full-time long term opportunity as a Quality Inspector. This is primarily a seated position, focused on operating an AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) machine. The AOI uses cameras and software to visually inspect Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) for potential defects.

Responsibilities:

• Quality Inspector Responsibilities Include:
  • Perform visual inspection of both printed circuit boards and assemblies
  • Verify material according to applicable acceptance criteria (IPC, IIP, data sheets, etc.)
  • Interpret drawings, work instructions, job routings, test instructions, BOM’s and inspection documents
  • Maintain accurate records of product acceptance and FAI requirements Verify in-process and finished product according to applicable standards and criteria (AQL, QSL, customer print, established program, etc.) 

  Education: High School

  Experience: 6 months

  • Previous quality experience preferred but not required
