The ability to properly use basic measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers is preferred.The ability to read engineering drawings is also preferred
Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are required for this role.Attention to Detail: Must have a keen eye for detail and the ability to consistently identify mistakes across thousands of inspections.Technical Proficiency: Literacy in smart devices like cell phones and tablets is necessary , as is proficiency with the Project Tracking System (Dot).Following Standards: The ability to closely follow quality standards is essential.Problem-Solving: Strong decision-making skills are required for inspections and audits to determine if features are acceptable or not.Time Management: Must be skilled in time management.Independent Work: Must be able to work independently.Mobility: The ability to travel to multiple customer facilities is required.Physical Abilities: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work in noisy areas with odors, stand for a minimum of eight hours, and perform tasks that require bending, stretching, kneeling, and squatting. A given task also requires visual acuity.
