Responsibilities:
QMS Leadership: Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS), including document control, record retention, and work instructions.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure strict compliance with customer flow-downs, regulatory mandates, and electronics manufacturing workmanship standards.
Team Leadership: Lead, train, coach, and develop the quality engineering team and cross-functional personnel on inspection methods and problem-solving tools.
Root Cause & CAPA: Lead the team in root cause analysis and Corrective/Preventive Actions (CAPA) using structured problem-solving methods to prevent recurrence.
Customer & Supplier Quality: Oversee customer quality activities (complaint handling, 8D responses, RMAs) and manage supplier performance (approvals, scorecards, and incoming defect containment).
Audit Readiness: Lead internal, customer, supplier, and third-party audits, coordinating readiness and closure evidence.
Metrics & Inspection: Monitor and report key metrics (scrap, yield, DPMO, COPQ) and oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field is strongly preferred (equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).

Qualifications:
Electronics Background: Previous experience working in an electronics manufacturing environment is required, including direct exposure to PCBA or electromechanical assemblies.
QMS Experience: Solid experience working within a Quality Control or Quality Management System (QMS) environment.
Technical Literacy: Proven ability to read and interpret customer assembly prints, blueprints, and complex quality documents.
Core Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent mathematical/statistical capabilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Communication: Must be able to read, write, communicate, and comprehend the English language at a professional level.
Pre-Employment: Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
Compliance: Ability to follow all company policies and complete all standard orientation and training needs.
