Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of quality specialists and technicians to ensure daily activities promote production.
Partner with operations management to ensure key quality checks are completed by line operators and are effective.
Manage the quality hold program, including root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to reduce customer complaints.
Oversee net content to ensure compliance with both volume and weight targets.
Provide leadership on reducing customer complaints by using trend data to prioritize actions.
Identify and apply "Best Practices" within the facility to drive improvements and monitor Quality Metrics/KPIs.
Challenge all departments on food safety and quality issues.
Ensure compliance with internal and external audits, such as FSSC 22000.

Skills:
Experience with new product launches or formulation.
Proficiency in monitoring and assessing quality systems and reporting their effectiveness to management.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control measures.
Ability to lead and motivate a team.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience with GMP, HACCP, and FSMA FSP compliance is essential.
Experience with a quality hold program is a plus.
Must be able to work in a high-noise environment with fast-paced work.
