Responsibilities:
Create and modify robot welding programs to achieve desired weld patterns and
parameters
Manually load and unload metal parts into the welding station.
Perform visual and dimensional checks on welds to ensure they meet quality standards
Identify and resolve issues with the robot, welding process or parts
Perform routine maintenance on the robot welding system including cleaning of system
Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Skills:
Work performed in a shop environment
Environment is not climate controlled
May work at different workstations as production needs require, or shifts from one
station to another during the assembly process
The noise level in the work environment, at times, can be loud
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months related experience and/or
training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Basic understanding of welding principles and techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG)??
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings??
Proficiency in using robotic welding programming software??
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Attention to detail and quality control standards??
Basic computer literacy
Physical/Mental Demands
Regularly required to lift/carry 20 to 40 pounds occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds frequently
Regularly required to bend, stoop, kneel and reach
Regularly required to stand and walk
Regularly required to push or pull objects up to 40 pounds
