      With general guidance from the General Manager of Operations, the Maintenance Manager will effectively leadmaintenance team to ensure safety, quality & productivity are maintained at the highest levels, while serving as arole model in the areas of leadership, teamwork, continuous improvement and safety.Responsibilities:Planning, implementing, and following-up on all production maintenance.Ensure all equipment meets all safety requirements and that all jobs are performed in accordance withcompany safety guidelines. Participates as a key member of the safety team and drives safe working practices.Reviewing and approving maintenance plans for production equipment and plant facilities; ensuring allmaintenance plans are completed; developing and managing action plans to address necessary jobs, current workload, and backlog.Establishing criteria for job performance in accordance with plant management guidelines.Establishing, with appropriate input, maintenance strategies for scheduled shutdowns and major repairs; managing the execution of plans.Addressing immediate actions in the event of unexpected failures and emergency repairs; efficiently coordinating resources and ensuring timely results.Hiring, directing, and managing the maintenance employees; evaluating their performance in relation to timely results, cost, and quality.Building a successful and capable maintenance Team. Providing employee training for Maintenance employees.Analyzing, evaluating, and authorizing modifications to equipment to reach optimal operating conditions and to reduce costs and energy consumption.Assist with mechanical and electrical trouble shooting.Preparing monthly reports for plant management using statistics, graphics, indexes, etc, with respect to materials and labor as well as specific information about equipment behavior (performance, controls, records, costs, OEE etc.)Ensuring inventory of parts, equipment, and materials are at an optimal level; establishing VMI for maintenance parts and supplies where applicable.Skills:Strong MS Office skills, with advanced knowledge of Excel required. Must be able to perform dataanalysis with using Pareto and other statistical tracking methods.Lean Six Sigma methodology with a TPM focus is a plus.Ability to provide root cause failure analysis and other analytical techniques to optimize equipment uptime.Extensive experience in PLC's and equipment controls highly desired.Comprehensive understanding of engineering principles and practices.Statistical methods and variance analysis knowledge is highly desirable.Working knowledge of MS Office (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).Strong collaborative skill sets that promote effective performance and cooperation between all parties, from employees to customers and vendors.Proven ability in TPM, SMED, 5S and OEE metrics.Must be detail oriented with strong project management.Significant experience in developing preventative/predictive maintenance programs.Education:BachelorsExperience:7-10 yearsQualifications: Minimum 2 year Associates Degree with at least 5 years of production experience required.Strong math skills are required.
