- Prepare and analyze financial data to generate journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger records.- Compile financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and other performance reports to reflect the company???s current and projected financial health.- Review accounting documents and transactions for accuracy and compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.- Develop, document, and enhance accounting policies and procedures to support effective financial management and operational efficiency.- Implement and maintain accounting systems and controls to ensure data integrity and consistency.- Prepare work papers, schedules, and reports that support audit activities and provide actionable insights.- Assist with special projects, ad-hoc reporting, and cross-functional initiatives as needed.- Foster a professional and collaborative work environment through effective communication and teamwork across departments.- Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive financial information and proprietary business practices.
4-7 years
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred- Prior internal experience in progressive accounting roles is highly desirable.- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and accounting software.
- Bachelor???s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.- Minimum of 6 years of progressive accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting best practices.- A strong background in inventory accounting and fixed asset depreciation- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
