The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for the accurate and complete processing of incoming stock and materials (receiving) and the preparation of outgoing shipments (shipping). This role involves verifying shipment contents against documentation, inspecting for damage, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Responsibilities:
Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
Inspect shipments and promptly report any damages or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
Sort, label, and accurately store items in their designated warehouse locations.
Assist with the preparation and packaging of outgoing shipments, ensuring correct labeling and all necessary documentation are included.
Help maintain accurate stock levels by assisting with updating inventory records and participating in counts and audits.
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as required.
Adhere strictly to all established safety procedures and guidelines.
Crosstrain with the shipping and inventory teams.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Skills:
At least 2 years of prior experience in a receiving or warehouse environment.
Prior Forklift experience.
Familiarity with inventory management software.
Previous experience and good understanding of an ERP system.
Basic understanding of railway, dock, and warehouse procedures.

High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Willingness to work in a warehouse environment, which may include exposure to dust, noise, and non-climate-controlled areas.
