Job Description:
As a Smokehouse Machine Operator, you will operating machinery in a meat packaging facility and performing various tasks as needed. Smokehouse Machine Operators are essential for the smoking of material to ensure the local flavor remains the same as it has been for many years!
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor smokehouse machines during the entire cooking process
- Perform regular quality checks to make sure temperature, cook time, and other standards are met
- Complete the necessary paperwork to document safety and quality checks
- Unload the product once it has finished cooking
- Work cooperatively with the team, be open to learning new machines, and help others when needed
Education: High School
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
