Responsibilities:
Assist in the coordination of the development of the annual budgets.
Manage asset records of the company and its affiliates.
Assist Accounting Technicians in the processing of receivables, payables and check reconciliations.
Prepare and post month-end and year-end adjustments and closing entries to the general ledger.
Balance subsidiary ledgers with control accounts in the general ledger.
Assist Finance Director in compiling annual audit data.
Assist administrative staff with contract administration.
Perform other related work as required to include:
Field Asset Management, Risk & Resilience, Environmental & Compliance Reporting.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Detail-oriented and experienced in analyzing and improving processes.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of supervisory principles, practices, and techniques.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with agencies, consultants, customers, employees, and vendors.
Flexible and able to prioritize work and take on additional tasks as required.

Bachelors
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in accounting, finance or related field and/or equivalent.
2-4 years as an Accounting Technician or bookkeeper or comparable accounting experience.
Understanding of basic accounting principles and mathematics including fractions and simple interest.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
Valid California Driver License.
