Job Description:

Examine, analyze, and interpret accounting records to prepare financial statements, give advice, or audit and evaluate statements prepared by others. Install or advise on systems of recording 

Proficient in excel 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparation and analysis of manufacturing cost reports 
• Examines and reviews unusual variances and communicates this with operations
• Analyzes inventory accuracy and value 
• Cycle counting, auditing , counting and reconciliations 
• Filing 
• Performs certain month end close activities
• Performs variance analysis and send routine reports to key managers 
• Complies with safety rules and regulations ( wear proper safety attire: steel toed shoes or coverings 
• Hearing protection, safety glasses and gloves as needed. 

Education: Associate Degree

• Seeking motivated college graduate / entry level with growth opportunities 

Experience: 24 months

Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially excel 
• Experience with ERP system in a manufacturing environment. JD Edwards experience a plus 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required 
• Excellent time management skill and attention to detail 
• Advanced math skills, ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages
