Responsibilities:
As the Staff Accountant, you will handle full cycle general ledger duties, bank reconciliations, transactional posting, and month end close support:
Perform monthly bank account reconciliations and corporate credit card balancing to ensure every transaction is correctly categorized and posted.
Prepare and record recurring monthly journal entries for prepaid expenses, routine amortization schedules, and interest income calculations.
Formulate and post monthly accrual entries to accurately align expenses with proper fiscal periods.
Handle intercompany transactions, including processing monthly insurance invoices and generating debit memos for expense reimbursements.
Support transactional accounting across accounts payable, accounts receivable payment entries, and online banking disbursements.
Assist with biweekly payroll workflows and standard calculations when needed.
Collaborate closely with the Controller on variance analysis, general ledger fluctuation reviews, and standardized journal entry process improvements.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Experience with mainstream ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics Navision or Business Central.
Demonstrated initiative in creating and refining accounting workflow templates.
Education:
Bachelors
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Bachelor???s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2 to 3 years of hands on accounting or bookkeeping experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation and standard formulas.
Strong attention to detail with proven ability to identify and resolve transactional errors within ledgers.
Clear written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
