-Successfully plan, direct, and manage company assets and personnel in the execution of manufacturing tasks to fulfill customer orders-Collaborate with Production to plan and schedule the execution of production work orders to be completed as to meet customer delivery requirements-Ensure that personnel under direct management authority are trained and skilled in the proper and safe operation of equipment, tools, and fixtures necessary to execute production and support functions-Participate in the long-range planning of production capabilities and capacities in support of the company's strategic and business plans. Participate in the development of annual budgets and capital expenditures-Monitor day to day operations for labor and equipment utilization to ensure production output and product cost goals are met-Collaborate with management on potential employee and staff open positions to ensure continuation of production when adjustments to labor capacity are required-Complete Personnel Development Plans and subsequent performance appraisals and merit reviews for all employees under management. Participate in succession planning and conduct ongoing employee development activities-Ensure adherence to Quality & Safety. Responsibility to ensure that all employees are trained and proficient in the requirements of these programs and policies-Work regularly with employees and Supervisors to find ways to improve production output in ways consistent with Lean Manufacturing and other improvement concepts-Perform other related duties as assigned-Direct and manage the Production Supervisors & Production Planner

-Associate's degree in related field or equivalent-Supervisory or managerial experience-Lean Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement or SCRUM a plus
-High School Diploma-Minimum 5 years experience within Steel Manufacturing, Supervisory and managerial experience within Steel Manufacturing
