Our client in the public sector is seeking reliable and people orientated individuals to support the administration of public employee benefit programs where you would be responsible for providing program support to administrators, office directors, and providing agency-wide administrative services.

Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative assistance to office directors and program administrators, ensuring the smooth operation of benefit programs like the WRS and group insurance.
- Handle agency-wide shipping and receiving using various resources (UPS, FedEx) and specialized mail-related software to ensure timely delivery of documents and supplies.
- Perform high-volume, accurate data entry into databases (like Microsoft Access) and conduct quality reviews to maintain the security and precision of employee benefit records.
- Operate scanning equipment and imaging software to digitize physical records and integrate them into the agency’s electronic workflow systems.
- Manage the physical movement of office materials, including lifting and organizing mail totes, report boxes, and paper supplies to support daily office functions.
- Conduct independent research into administrative issues, analyze data to identify bottlenecks, and develop recommendations for procedural improvements.
- Serve as an active member of various agency teams, facilitating communication between departments and maintaining professional relationships at all levels of the organization.
Qualifications:
- The ability to use oral and written skills to provide high-quality service to public employees and internal stakeholders.
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook) and the ability to quickly learn proprietary imaging and workflow software.
- A proven track record of maintaining "extreme accuracy" in data entry and record-keepingwithin strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in time management and priority-setting to handle multiple tasks independently with minimal supervision after initial training.
- The ability to perform regular physical tasks, including walking, bending, and the daily lifting of heavy mail totes and office supply boxes.
