This role is essential to patient care, ensuring all departments have the necessary supplies and equipment. Due to the hospital's strict credentialing process, this is not a quick-hire position. We recruit for all three shifts.
Days: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Mid: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Nights: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
The pay rate is a consistent $13.00 per hour for all shifts.
Responsibilities:
A Supply Chain Technician is responsible for the efficient flow of medical materials.
This includes:
Processing and distributing supplies and equipment to various hospital departments.
Receiving and inspecting materials delivered to the receiving area.
Maintaining par levels, restocking, and rotating supplies.
Decontaminating reusable medical supplies and equipment.
Assisting with the inventory process and performing cycle counts.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 6:00 AM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Discretion and Confidentiality: Essential in a hospital setting. This role often involves working near patient care areas or handling supply requests related to specific procedures. The ability to maintain strict confidence regarding hospital operations, patient names, and sensitive materials is paramount.
Attention to Detail and Accuracy: Crucial for inventory management, verifying incoming shipments against bills of lading, performing cycle counts, and restocking to ensure the correct item is in the correct location (e.g., preventing errors in supply rotation).
Reliability and Punctuality (Dependability): Since the position is shift-based (Days, Mid, Nights) and directly supports clinical care, strict adherence to the schedule is vital to ensure continuous coverage and the uninterrupted flow of critical supplies.
Organizational and Time Management Skills: The job requires multitasking-processing requests, stocking par levels, inspecting deliveries, and performing decontamination-all while maintaining an orderly and efficient workspace.

Professional Documentation:

Two (2) Professional References, preferably current or past supervisors who can verify employment.
